Been cooking a lot from Foster's

I have to say that I have cooked biscuits, crepes, pancakes, chili and a couple of soups from Foster's and they have all been tasty. I just wanted to shout out a quick "Thank you" to Suzanne for suggesting it! The problem I am running into right now is that I don't seem to have enough time to pull of most of the recipes. Any helpful hints out there?

  1. Krispi has chosen a great cook book. It is simple. Since we are all great cooks, we can choose where we want to do the short cuts and where we want to make it from scratch.

  2. I am not sure how to get that picture up form Amazon - like Val and Suzanne did - the link should take you to the book.

  3. Yes! It's the Cooking Light cook book. I have been using some of my ingredients. I don't necessarily like the chemical based sugar substitutes, so have been using my own stuff that is made with REAL food. When they call for "boil in a bag" rice, I just cook REAL rice in my regular way. I have a rice cooker and don't care if it takes 20 minutes instead of 15!
